Cobalt acetate is a purplish red deliquescent crystal, microstrip acetic acid odor, and it is anhydrous at 140°C. It is soluble in water, ethanol, dilute acid and amyl acetate. Its relative density is 1.705, and its refractive index is 1.542. Carcinogenic possibility.
Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing and rinse with plenty of running water.

Inhalation: quickly from the scene to fresh air, keep the airway open, such as breathing difficulties, give oxygen, such as respiratory arrest, immediate artificial respiration, medical treatment.
