Product Description
The Nickel Chloride Anhydrous is green or grass green monoclinic prismatic crystal at normal temperature. It is weathering in dry air, deliquescent in humid air, sublimation in vacuum can absorb ammonia quickly, lose some crystal water by heating, completely lose crystal water when it exceeds 140 °C, turning into yellow-brown anhydrous nickel chloride. It is soluble in water, ethanol and ammonia, the aqueous solution is acidic. It can be used in chemical industry to make various nickel compounds, preservatives and catalysts for chemical reactions. The Nickel Chloride Anhydrous is also used in the manufacture of invisible inks and as an analytical reagent in the nickel electroplating industry and analytical chemistry. In addition, its anhydrous substance is used as an ammonia absorbent for gas masks.
