Product Description
The Potassium Bifluoride is a chemical substance, colorless crystal, with a slightly acid smell, and a melting point of about 238 ° C (decomposition). It is easily soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol, and the aqueous solution is acidic and toxic. It does not liberate hydrogen fluoride in dry air, and releases hydrogen fluoride absorbs water in humid air. When heated to 310 ℃, hydrogen fluoride starts to escape, and the hydrogen fluoride vapor pressure can reach 0.101325MPa (1atm) to 400 ℃. Molten potassium hydrogen fluoride is more active than potassium fluoride and sodium fluoride.
